HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Back then, all we had was a small refrigeration complex and the ability to work with frozen products.

This is the size of the refrigeration complex where our company's history began. Back then, we didn't manufacture anything, we just stored frozen products.

We were producing that much ice cream per month 4 years after we started working. However, we still specialized more in storage than in production.
1965
FACTORY OPENING
A new large refrigerator was installed and an ice cream factory was opened. This made it possible to produce 300 tons per month, which is 6 times more than at the very beginning.

Important changes for us
Important changes have occurred for us – the company became privately owned, we raised more funds and increased production.

Own production

We set up our own production of icing. It was then that new types of ice cream appeared, which are now known to more than one generation of our connoisseurs.

2004

When quality becomes the standard

In 2004, we took a strategic step forward, starting a deep modernization of production. Installation of high-tech Tetra Pak equipment. LIMO set a course for innovation.

2006

Premium taste

The company introduced premium cones "Inferno" and "Mephisto" - a combination of bold and exquisite flavors: Sicilian orange, caffè latte, raspberry yogurt, honey, and caramel.

2007

We are not afraid to surprise.

LIMO breaks stereotypes by presenting warm ice cream "Firebird" - an unusual format with a delicate taste of "Bird's Milk", which opens a few minutes after freezing.

2010

Quality recognized worldwide

We implement ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 systems, confirming high standards of quality and safety.

2011

World standards. Ukrainian style

In 2011, LIMO gained international recognition at the World of Ice Cream and Cold Exhibition: 2 gold and 6 silver awards for quality, as well as 3 gold medals for packaging design.
They began producing semi-finished products: pelmeni, varenyky. Later, ravioli and frozen vegetable mixes were added.

2015

Coming out into the world

Our products enter the international markets of Moldova, Israel, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.
We receive the FSSC 22000 certificate, which guarantees safety control at all stages of production.

2018

More flavors — more emotions

Investments in new production lines, which allowed us to expand the range to over 100 types of ice cream and be represented in leading retail chains in Ukraine.

2022

Together with the country. Together to victory

During a full-scale war, LIMO supports Ukraine: part of the team defends the state in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and we transfer funds for the needs of the army from each unit of product sold.

2023

Ukrainian brand. Global taste

LIMO's range is growing to over 150 types of ice cream, and we are entering the markets of the USA and the European Union, confirming our competitiveness on a global level.

2024

A new direction of growth

We expanded our activities into the production of frozen vegetable mixes and berries. We launched our own modern packaging plant, equipped with high-tech equipment with automatic dosage control, weight control, and metal detection.

2025

New horizons

We received BRCGS certification and launched a new highly automated VOJTA line for the premium Velvet and Ge'limo lines.
In October, we made our first deliveries to Brazil and opened our own representative office, combining Ukrainian expertise with international experience.
